Let Me Play Grants Awarded! Recently, Foundation IX awarded Let Me Play grants to 26 girls from across the state of Minnesota. The average age of grant recipients was 12 and the average grant amount was $223. For some girls, it was needed support to attend summer basketball or swim camp. For other girls it was used to purchase softball cleats and a mitt or their soccer uniform. Recipients covered every corner of the state, from Isanti to Faribault and S. St. Paul to Ogilvie. To date, Foundation IX has awarded 165 grants to girls in Minnesota totaling nearly $60,000!

Thank you to the Minnesota RollerGirls and their fans! Foundation IX was especially proud this year of the sponsorship of the Minnesota RollerGirls. The volunteerism, fundraising and constant supported not only helped to promote Foundation IX grants for girls but also resulted in a contribution to Foundation IX over $8,000! Thank you Minnesota RollerGirls and fans!
