Foundation IX joins Ann Bancroft Foundation

to further enhance opportunities for girls

Foundation IX Supporters,

November 20, 2010 - We are excited to announce a new home for the Foundation IX Let Me Play grants program. After nearly five years of building the base of Foundation IX and serving over 180 girls in Minnesota to participate in sports and fitness activities, we found that in order to truly grow our impact on girls in Minnesota and reach greater numbers of girls in need, we wanted to team up with an organization with a tremendous mission, history, phenomenal leadership and growth potential.  On behalf of the board of Foundation IX, I am extremely pleased to announce that we have found that home in the Ann Bancroft Foundation (ABF).  Several years ago, I had the privilege to serve on both the Awards Committee and the Micro-Grant Committee of ABF.  At that moment, I fell in love with the mission of the organization, the passion of the board and volunteers and was extremely inspired by the leadership of their founder and leader, Ann Bancroft. As the Founder of Foundation IX, I am deeply honored and beyond excited with the prospects of the Ann Bancroft Foundation assuming the Let Me Play grant program and I am more than confident in the outlook to come.  If you have ever expressed your support of Foundation IX in the past, I ask you to turn your attention now to the Ann Bancroft Foundation as your new home for supporting girls in Minnesota to participate in sports and fitness activities.   www.annbancroftfoundation.org
